    PFC C. Bear

While in direct combat with an overwhelming hostile force during combat operations in Operation Frozen Spike VII, Private First Class Charlie Bear organized and conducted a successful rescue of Captain William Reese under great threat to his own and his fellow Ranger’s lives. With efficiency, speed, and cunning - Charlie Bear and Jame Oliver engaged and dispatched both of William Reese's captors and released and extracted him whilst under heavy enemy fire - including direct contact with multiple T-72 main battle tanks - and escaped with all personnel accounted for. For meritorious achievement in ground operations against hostile forces, Private First Class Charlie Bear is hereby awarded the Bronze Star Medal with the “V” Device for Valor. His actions reflect great credit upon himself, the Second Ranger Battalion, and the United States Army and the Department of Defense.

    PFC J. Oliver

Private First Class James Oliver demonstrated excellent battlefield proficiency in the face of overwhelming fire by enemy armor prior to the assault on Norinsk during combat operations in Operation Frozen Spike VIII. James Oliver, at great risk to his life, dispatched six enemy APCs and IFVs at 800-1000m distance with great accuracy and precision using his MAAWS weapon system. The destruction of these armored targets were critical to the completion of the operation, and without such - would have resulted in the complete halt of First Platoon’s offensive, and the death of all Ranger’s in theatre. For meritorious achievement in ground operations against hostile forces, Private First Class James Oliver is hereby awarded the Bronze Star Medal with the V Device for Valor. His actions reflect great credit upon himself, the Second Ranger Battalion, and the United States Army and the Department of Defense.

Private Second Class Christian Foley exceptionally distinguished himself during combat operations with First Platoon, Alpha Company, 2nd Ranger Battalion during Operation Frozen Spike IV. During combat operations, Private Second Class Chris Foley noticed a T-72 some 100 meters away from his squad. Understanding the imminent danger, Private Foley put his own life at risk to disable the tank using a shoulder launched light anti-tank weapon, causing the destruction of the tank. After its destruction, Private Foley noticed four dismounts from the burning tank, which he swiftly dealt with under great risk to his own life, becoming gravely wounded in the process, to which he refused medical treatment until the more injured were dealt with first. His actions during Operation Frozen Spike IV not only saved himself and his comrades from certain death, but also ensured the success of the First Platoon in clearing the way for a Chernarussian county offensive, leading to the destruction of insurgent forces in the region.
