While engaged with the enemy, Corporal CPL G. Malum performed their duties heroically, which contributed to the success of their unit's mission.

Corporal CPL G. Malum's heroic action is a great example of the Ranger ethos, and reflects great credit upon themselves, the 2nd Ranger Battalion and the United States Army.
