Distinguished Flying Cross

For heroism during aerial flight during combat operations against the enemy, Specialist SPC W. Harrison is hereby awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross.

With complete disregard for their own personal safety during combat operations while in aerial flight, and amid the presence of heavy enemy fire, Specialist SPC W. Harrison heroically performed their duties while a crew member of their assigned helicopter. Supporting the 2nd Ranger Battalion's combat operations, Specialist SPC W. Harrison skillfully guided their aircraft during numerous air support sorties; to include the destruction of the enemy that threatened friendly ground forces.

Specialist SPC W. Harrison's skill in CAS missions helped to ensure the success of the mission at hand, and reflects great credit upon themselves and the United States Army.

The Valor Device is authorized.
